Breast Reduction

The breast reduction procedure involves the removal of skin and gland, positioning the areola and nipple in the right place, achieving a new form of the breasts

Duration 2 - 4 hrs.

Swelling and discoloration around areola-nipple complex for a week. The stitches are removed 10 to 14 days after surgery. Altered sensitivity fro several weeks. Drains are sometimes used 4 to 10 days.

Back to work 1 to2 weeks after surgery. Should not be lifting, bending or stretching in 4 to 6 weeks.
